InDesign
Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing and page layout designing software application. Adobe’s flagship product is a desktop publishing (DTP) program for designing graphics and layouts for print and digital publications. It offers features similar to those found in Microsoft Publisher (e.g., page layout, text editing, and file management).
Why should I use InDesign?
When choosing a DTP package, consider how well-suited its tools and features match your workflow. If you need sophisticated page layout capabilities, choose a tool with advanced page-building options; if you prefer to work with simple, straightforward templates, select a simpler option.
You already have experience using PageMaker, QuarkXPress, Scribus, CorelDraw, Freehand, Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash, and/or another DTP program, review their features and make sure they offer what you want before selecting them.
